Abbotsford Police Foundation (APF)

The Abbotsford Police Foundation (APF) is a registered not-for-profit charitable foundation supporting the Abbotsford Police Department programs and initiatives not covered by the regular operating budget from the City of Abbotsford. Through fundraising efforts, the APF strives to support and foster positive connections between the Abbotsford Police Department and our community by supporting programs and initiatives that reduce crime and build positive relationships.

Chilliwack Community Services

For years our Lawyers have been involved with CCS as board members and financial supporters. CCS is a non-profit, accredited multi-service agency providing support-focused programming to people of all ages. For over 90 years, CCS has been dedicated to meeting social and community needs in Chilliwack and the surrounding areas.

Coats for Kids

Zacharias Vickers McCann is a Platinum Donor to Coats for Kids. Coats for Kids (and its counterpart “We Got Your Back Backpack Program”) works with the local school district to find children who are in need of warm winter clothing and to provide them with it. To date nearly $500,000 has been put directly back into the community through these programs.

Big Brothers & Big Sisters

Big Brothers and Big Sisters of The Fraser Valley is near and dear to our hearts, and it is why we sit on the Board of Directors. Big Brothers Big Sisters is a non-profit federation with a focus on mentoring programs for youth and provides services to 41,700 youth in over 1,100 communities.

Chilliwack’s Children Foundation

The Chilliwack Children’s Foundation was started by the Chilliwack-Mt. Cheam Rotary Club in the early 1990’s as a means of focusing the club’s fundraising efforts to assist needy young people in Chilliwack. 100% of the funds raised are disbursed. None of the funding goes to administration.

United Way of British Columbia

The United way of the Lower Mainland responds to emerging issues in our communities by co-creating programs where and when they’re needed most. Their mission is to strengthen vital connections that support people in need in our local communities.

Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce

The Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization comprised of business, professionals, residents and other community groups working together to ensure a healthy economic and social-economic base to benefit the entire community.

Abbotsford Bombers Men’s Softball League

Zacharias Vickers McCann sponsors the Abbotsford Bombers Men’s Softball League. Sports are an integral part of our communities and helps to build long lasting relationships. We are proud to sponsor this aspect of our community.

Chilliwack Rotary Club

The Chilliwack Rotary Club is dedicated to improving lives of people, both in our community and around the world. With the support of the Chilliwack community, CRC raises nearly $150,000 per year that is used to fund local and international efforts (such as scholarships, literacy programs, breakfast programs, and more) . We are proud to be involved with the CRC.

We’ve Got Your Back

Zacharias Vickers McCann is a platinum Donor to We Got Your Back. We Got your back (and it’s counterpart “Coats for Kids”) works with the local school district to find children who are in need of school supplies and to provide them with what they need. To date, nearly $500,000 has been put directly back into the community through these programs.

Chilliwack Bowls of Hope

Their program currently provides soup, fruit and other hot lunch items to 23 schools within the Chilliwack School District. Through donations from businesses, community partners, and the public, 900 children in need receive over 17,000 bowls of soup each month.

Chilliwack Economic Partners Corporation

The Chilliwack Economic Partners Corporation is a proactive, business-oriented organization responsible for the City of Chilliwack’s economic growth and Development. It’s mission is to strengthen Chilliwack’s Economy. We are proud to be involved in Chilliwack’s Economic Growth.

Rotary Club of Chilliwack Mount Cheam

The Rotary Club of Chilliwack Mount Cheam is a non profit that carries out a variety of service projects that address critical issues including poverty, hunger, illiteracy, pollution, and service to youth. The also offer career development and mentoring programs.

Lawyers for Canuck Place

Canuck Place is BC’s pediatric palliative care provider for children with life-threatening illnesses and the families who love them. Their staff provide all of the medical respite care at no cost.
