Patrick first joined Zacharias Vickers McCann as a summer student in 2021. He returned to the firm in 2022 to complete his articles, and he has worked as an associate following his call to the bar in May 2023.
Patrick practices in various areas of law, including administrative law, civil litigation and personal injury litigation. His practice is focused upon employment law, however, where he regularly acts for and advises clients on various matters including wage disputes, contract negotiations, wrongful dismissal claims, and human rights issues. Patrick has appeared before various administrative bodies and levels of court in BC, including the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal, Employment Standards Branch, Provincial Court of British Columbia, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Prior to attaining his Juris Doctorate at the University of Victoria, Patrick completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of the Fraser Valley and a Master of Arts degree at Acadia University in Wolfville, Nova Scotia. When he is not at work, Patrick enjoys reading, following and playing sports, and spending time with his family.
